The purpose of this blog is to bring together various sources pertaining to Freeport's history. In doing so we hope to make it easier to learn more about this wonderful Village. This blog is maintained by Regina Feeney, a librarian/archivist at the Freeport Memorial Library and Trustee of the Freeport Historical Society and Cynthia Krieg, President of the Freeport Historical Society, and Village Historian. Please email questions about Freeport history to: frreference@freeportlibrary.info
See post for October 2, 2007 for more information about Eisenhower's visit to Freeport.
